Studio Policies
This is a calm, one-on-one home grooming studio designed for pets who thrive with gentleness, patience, and connection.
These policies help protect that environment and ensure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Each appointment time is reserved just for your pet.
48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
Last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, as they directly affect my ability to serve each pet with the time and calm they deserve.
Late Arrivals
If arrival is more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled so your pet does not experience a rushed or shortened grooming session.
This ensures their experience stays calm, supported, and unhurried.
Humanity Over Vanity (Matting Policy)
Grooming should never hurt.
If your pet’s coat is tangled or matted, I will choose the kindest and most comfortable grooming option, which may include a shorter trim. Since working with matted pets requires extra time spent ensuring they are comfortable during the grooming process ,extra charges will be applied to your final bill.
A comfortable pet is a confident pet.
Their well-being is always the priority.
Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all pets who visit the studio (even though they never meet each other):
- Dogs and cats must be up-to-date on Rabies, Kennel cough and DHPP/Distemper
- Recently adopted pets may provide adoption/medical timeline documentation.
This maintains a healthy space for everyone.
Fear-Free & Relationship-Based Care
I am Fear Free Certified, which means grooming here is based on:
- Gentle handling
- Emotional awareness
- Clear communication
- Breaks when needed
- Respect for each pet’s pace and comfort level
This is a supportive environment for:
- Anxious pets
- Senior pets
- Shy or overwhelmed pets
- Pets with previous stressful grooming experiences
Your pet’s emotional safety matters just as much as their coat.
Specialty Sessions
Some pets need:
- More time
- More reassurance
- More space to feel safe
Specialty Sessions are available and include:
- Extra breaks
- Slower pace
- Additional calming and connection work
